"Key responsibilities and accountabilities: • Plan and carry out the business plans of the relevant countries to the agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, products and timescales. • Maintain and develop existing and new chains. • Coordinate and liaison with internal order-processing staff. • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information. • Carry out market research, competitor coverage of the relevant markets. Personality: Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with the company executives. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view. Well presented and businesslike. Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel up to 50% on an annual basis. Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. Able to get on with Specific Job and other Skills: • Academic level education. • Business experience of at least 2-3 years with capital equipment and/or glass industries. Direct sales experience. • Experience in working with agents (locate, manage)- an advantage • Hands-on mentality, ability to sell direct as well as indirect (with agents) • European passport - advantage. • Self motivator • Willingness to travel extensively Computer skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, Internet and email.
