Nadav Alon posted a job: Dell Israel is looking for Storage Field Engineer "The job of the Storage Field Engineer is primarily a storage, backup and archiving Consultant supporting Dell's enterprise clients. You will be responsible for assessment, design and integration of Dell Compellent/EqualLogic/DX, SAN, NAS, DAS and object infrastructures as well as NetVault, CommVault and vRanger. You will also work on various custom enterprise solutions related to data management offerings. During the presales phase: • Learn and understand customer IT environment • Prepare detailed SOW of complex solutions installation, focus on storage During the post sale phase: • Prepare and execute detailed installation plan • Configure Dell solution into customer IT environment • Supervise installation team when relevant • Verify correct handover to the customer • Verify all required processes and procedures are in place and executed correctly Skills required: • Hands on experience of Installation & configuration of complex enterprise systems (Servers, storage, networking) • Practical experience of setting and maintaining virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V etc) • VMware and Microsoft relevant certifications • Networking and Security knowledge and experience – advantage • Installation Team supervision experience • Customer oriented • Excellent inter-personal relations required Fit for the job?
