Experience with various operating systems and virtualization environments: Linux flavors, windows, VMWare, Xen, etc. – A must. Hands on experience with Application servers such as WebLogic – an advantage. Basic knowledge on Web servers (Apache & IIS) – a must. Basic knowledge on installation and maintenance of MySQL server and Oracle database – an advantage. Basic knowledge of network concepts such as: TCP/IS, DNS, DHCP, NFS, SMTP, SNMP, etc. – A must.
