Feel free sending resume to me or to jobs.israel@avg.com "Senior BI Analyst As the Business Intelligence Analyst you will be driving the delivery of business intelligence to different levels of management at AVG in order to enable better data-driven business and product decisions. The metrics and analyses you develop will serve as a key input in strategic planning and decision-making for the Platform group; they will cover LTV calculations, A/B testing, financial actuals, sales pipeline and forecasting and customer data metrics. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders in sales, partnership managers, product management, engineering, support, marketing and finance. Responsibilities • Perform consistent data exploration and analysis of a search platform and software that is currently being distributed to millions of end-user clients all over the world. • Construct Lifetime Value models and use insights to drive improvement within the business. • Perform A/B testing to discover which variables/changes are most effective at driving revenue/customer acquisition etc. • Develop and characterize numerous reports for the Sales, Partnership department and high level management. • Design the data structure, OLAP cubes, dimensions and ETL. • Work closely with the R&D team, QA team, Sales team and project manager. Requirements • At least 4 years of BI experience in a global company (mandatory). • Well-versed in data profiling, data manipulation and/or data analysis. Ability to write queries and sample/select large data sets from disparate data sources using SAS, SQL, Access, BI (Business Objects), OLAP or other tools (mandatory). • Knowledge of statistics packages such as SAS, SPSS, R (or other analytical tools) is highly desirable. • Proven experience of identifying and using correct analytical techniques in building various types of models including LTV, Marketing Optimization, Survival Models, Time Series, Econometric models etc. • Strong analytical thinking, thoroughness, detail oriented and open minded and well organized. • Background with Hadoop Hive – Advantage. • Experience with tools like Business Object, Tableau, Panorama, Datameer, etc – Advantage • B.Sc. in Computer Science / Statistics / Mathematics / Relevant military training. • Fluent in verbal and writing English.
