Experience in Java multi-threading (Threads, Runnables, Executors) a must Strong knowledge and proven experience in Java Network programming (NIO, sockets, channels, buffers) a must Experience with the Netty framework strong advantage Strong, proven background in Object Oriented design and fluency in the use of Design Patterns. Knowledge in communication protocols (such as: TCP, SCTP, UDP, HTTP, Diameter) Knowledge in Unix/Linux scripting languages. Knowledge of production programming tools (version control, build, debugging) Knowledge in testing tools (Profilers, jUnit architecture, Seagull, jMeter).
