"Leading software company with global offices and an excellent reputation is searching for a Chief Technology Officer to join them on a permanent basis. The positions is a board level role so it is essential that the successful CTO is a high caliber individual with huge amounts of gravitas. You will be part of the Executive management team and will be making important decisions for the company globally. This is a great opportunity to professional who is looking for challenge and very interesting position. Requirements: • Higher education in IT or Computer Science. • Prior experience as development manager, chief architect or CTO. • At least 10 years prior experience in software development and/or system integration. Full understanding of a product life cycle, including Agile methodologies. • 5+ years of experience managing systems architecture on enterprise scale. Ability to lead software development projects independently and as a part of management team. • Wide understanding of information technologies, familiar with recent innovations and trends. • Strong interpersonal, leadership and representation skills. • Highly motivated, proactive, great attention to detail, results-oriented problem solver, and ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines. • English (written and spoken) – Must!, Russian – Advantage! • Background in gaming/gambling industries is a big advantage. Technical requirements: • Knowledge of enterprise architecture including J2EE technologies, databases, message brokers, web servers and services. Concurrency, clustering, redundancy and virtualization. • Up to date with modern technologies, such as big data, data grids and distribution, mobile and social platforms. • Software design patterns and experience with either C++ or Java programming languages. • Experience in system and platform integration, API and SDK design. • Experience in evaluation, testing and selection of 3rd-party solutions and technologies, as well as employing external service providers and consultants.
