Please send CVs to: v-yaelco@microsoft.com "Mission The Developer Support team is responsible for providing support to our Premier, Professional customers and Partners in Israel with their Visual Studio, TFS and development languages such as C# and C++ related problems Utilizing knowledge of the customer environment, the team delivers timely and high quality incident resolution focusing on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, prevention, and knowledge transfer. The support engineers, being part of virtual EMEA teams, effectively manage cases and sub-cases to ensure timely and high quality communication with customers to resolve the technical issues. Skills Excellent customer service skills and effective learning skills Great verbal and written communication skills. Very good English language skills - Spoken and Written (including technical writing). Representing Microsoft. Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Deep knowledge on the following technologies: • Visual Studio (2008, 2010, 2012) • Team Foundation System (TFS) • VSTS • Languages of C#, C++, VB.Net • .Net Framework • GUI/Forms • Knowledge of Client environment Windows XP, Vista, 7. Experience Min 5 years of technical experience in Microsoft technologies Min 3 years of enterprise-scale hands on experience of administration and developer support on Visual Studio technologies Experience in the enterprise customer arena Excellent written, oral and presentation skills Troubleshooting knowledge & skills MCSD qualification id preferred Candidates with high security clearance are preferred BSc degree in Computers/Engineering/Mathematics are preferred Responsibilities Effectively collaborate with peers in the EMEA teams to provide solutions to the customers’ problems. Communicate with corporate customers via telephone, email, LiveMeeting and other means of electronic communication to troubleshoot the technical problems. Provide on-site support when required for mission-critical problems that were experienced with the supported technology unit Analyze problems and develop solutions to meet customers’ needs. Participate in case triage meetings to share knowledge with other engineers and develop efficient customer solutions. Write technical articles and sample programs for Microsoft's knowledge base. Deliver workshops/briefings to Premier customers when necessary. Organize managers and teams across the Support business group to facilitate the improvement of support processes Influence developers and others who contribute to current and future product releases to alleviate recurring support issues Build business and technology cases based on product support and technical readiness trends that advocated for product changes and improvements Identify and monitor trends in case flow and make changes that improve time to resolution and also quality of case handling Contribute to market share improvement efforts." | |||||
