The job consists of using software engineering’s best practices for designing, implementing, documenting, and testing a brand new thin client GUI in HTML5. Required Skills and Technologies: J2EE, Swing, Tomcat/Apache, AJAX, JQuery, HTML5 (a must), CSS, JSP, SERVLET, JSF or other framework, SOAP/REST, SQL, Financial Information eXchange Protocol. Previous experience in financial trading GUIs (FX, Equities, Bonds, or options) is a must. Job Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years experience in Client side Javascript or other thin client technologies, preferably in a FX technology company. • In-depth understanding and proven experience of J2EE development in Client-Server Application. • Minimum 2 years experience with OO (Object Oriented) design and programming. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient in English and Hebrew. Other European languages are a plus. • Good processing skills - experience in participating in design and code reviews. • BA / BSc degree in computer science or computer engineering.
