The applications development team provides various visualization tools, enhancements and clinical applications to the Philips product. As a Software Engineer in the applications development team you’ll take part in the development of the new advanced visualization tools that will be released to the market in the coming years. These tools are using cutting edge technologies that provide doctors with algorithms, workflows and visualization tools that make their work efficient and precise. The Software Developer has the responsibility to create or enhance modules and features. The Software engineer needs to understand the requirements, create, implement and test the design of a module or a component. Duties and Responsibilities: • Understand and analyze requirements • Contribute to estimation, list tasks to be done • Contribute or own design • Participate or lead DRS reviews • Understand existing code/design and perform impact analysis • Implement modules as per tasks assigned by feature lead, follow coding guidelines • Review and mitigate risks associated with the development • Unit testing • Performs Manual workflow testing • Defect analysis, fixing, impact analysis and root cause analysis. • Present code for review and rework as per review comments • Review code of other developers • Deliver to delivery branch, ensure merge to mainline, follow delivery guidelines • Investigation of new technologies/tools and prototyping • Provide technical support to external teams • Guide junior software engineers • Follow defined engineering process Education/Skills and Experience Requirements: • Bachelor degree in Computer Science • 3+ years of experience in SW development- must • Proven experience on C++/ C#/ .NET/ JAVA • Experience on Windows environment- Advantage • Good English skills • Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment (local and global teams) • Experience in international organization/ medical devices background – Advantage CV's please send to: philips_linkedin@talent-sys.com" | ||||||
