"An innovation team at the F5 Networks Tel-Aviv R&D center is looking for a proficient C programmer to help us implement a cutting edge distributed, self-learning and self-adjusting scalable web application security product. If you like: • building high quality software from scratch with cutting edge technologies • have proven experience in crafting efficient and maintainable software systems in C • able to divide and conquer complex problems into simple, easy, maintainable, modular and testable solutions • a master of your domain – we’re looking for you. Who we’re looking for: • Someone with high proficiency in C programming (a C expert) • With a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms • A software craftsman • experienced in developing under GNU/Linux • has very good design skills • initiative, self-motivated, gets-things-done attitude • collaborative who doesn’t let ego into the workplace • strong problem-solving ability • excellent reliability, dependability and trustworthiness • high attention to detail and accuracy You might also have: • familiarity and understanding of Internet Protocols, especially TCP/IP and HTTP/S • experience in scripting languages such as Perl or Python • knowledge of web applications and web servers and how they work • understanding of functional programming and of design oriented programming • AWS stuff: EC2, S3, Autoscaling, etc., etc., etc. Responsibilities: • Develop our infrastructure in C for stability, scalability, performance, testability and for change • Be responsible for coding, unit testing, debugging, performance testing and deployment of major components of the system • Participate in design of components and of APIs • Participate in design reviews, peer reviews and work according to the team’s development methodologies • Design and build robust software in C to handle high-performance computing and networking as well as solutions for big data problems • Be the owner of major components of the software modules • Handle production issues and ad hoc performance issues Please contact Shlomo Yona (s.yona@f5.com) 057-7326360" | |||||
