As a member of this new team, the successful candidate will get an opportunity to affect all aspects of design, be involved throughout the full development cycle of new system products. It allows working with multiple software and system design teams around the world on the latest and greatest devices. Qualifications: • Comprehensive knowledge of multiple storage technologies and protocols, incl. SCSI, SAN-based arrays, and configuration tools • Linux storage stack understanding is mandatory • Comprehensive knowledge of flash storage technologies - advantage • Experience in developing HBA drivers and control software - advantage • In-depth knowledge of large storage arrays and data center technologies - advantage • Fluent “C” programming language • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced environment • The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to work effectively cross-functionally. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. • This position requires a BS/BA degree from leading universities with 3 or more years of related experience. Responsibilities: • Be a focal point for storage related activity • Work on implementation and verification of systems/subsystems • Providing support in development and testing activities of other engineers • Coding • Designing • Testing and/or Unit Testing • Test automation • Debugging • Reliability • Benchmarking and Performance analysis • Participate in technical discussions within the team and with other groups within Business Units associated with specified projects • Maintain cooperative working mode by way of strong communication with software engineering and release engineers."
