Those can come in the form of poor coding, bad configuration or maybe a little secret no one is supposed to find out about. Some of the projects require Reverse Engineering, most of them demand meticulous examination and testing, and most of them will only succeed if you are capable of thinking outside the box. You will analyze existing products and services, from software to hardware, from servers to gadgets, and look for vulnerabilities. You will write Responsible and Full Disclosure documents and other publications about the vulnerabilities you find, and will work with the relevant vendors on having them fixed Requirement: Hacking experience of some sort (software/hardware), excellent understanding of Internet and its protocols, strong understanding of operating system internals (either one), moderate programming skills. Outside-the-box thinking, stubbornness and independence. Must be able to learn new stuff on demand. Reverse Engineering experience is an advantage.
