Image processing SW engineer "Position: A member of the Algorithms and SW group in an advanced startup company in the field of printing for the solar industry with very high growth potential. Responsibility: Design, coding, testing and support of image processing algorithms and SW to be integrated in the company’s products Job specifics: A newly developed product (a processing equipment for manufacturing PV solar cells) that operates in a high-throughput production environment. The software and algorithms that control and manage its operation should perform very accurately and reliably. The system is equipped with multiple cameras that support accurate alignment, enable tracking of the tool's operation and provide automatic optical inspection of the processed cells. Requirements to the image processing capabilities are very challenging both in accuracy and in speed relative to standard machine vision applications. Reporting: to the SW group manager. Technical guidance will be provided by the senior algorithms engineer. Required skills: • Proved experience in programming and development of effective code in C++ and multi-threaded environment. • At least three years experience in developing image processing and signal processing algorithms. • Experience in Matlab • Experience with MS-Windows development – advantage • Ability to work independently • Fluent in Hebrew and English • Excellent in human relations and team work • Education: MSc.
