Currently, we have an opening for a strong architect to join Playtech’s CTO Office. The Software Architect will leverage their extensive experience in software architecture and software engineering practices in complex, heterogeneous technology environments to support company’s business objectives and to help us deliver current & future software fast and in better quality. This is a great opportunity to professional who is looking for challenge and very interesting position. Requirements: • Higher education in IT or Computer Science. • Prior experience as development manager, chief architect or CTO. • At least 10 years prior experience in software development and/or system integration. Full understanding of a product life cycle, including Agile methodologies. • 5+ years of experience managing systems architecture on enterprise scale. Ability to lead software development projects independently and as a part of management team. • Wide understanding of information technologies, familiar with recent innovations and trends. • Strong interpersonal, leadership and representation skills. • Highly motivated, proactive, great attention to detail, results-oriented problem solver, and ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines. • Very good English (written and spoken). • Background in gaming/gambling industries is a big advantage. Technical requirements: • Knowledge of enterprise architecture including J2EE technologies, databases, message brokers, web servers and services. Concurrency, clustering, redundancy and virtualization. • Up to date with modern technologies, such as big data, data grids and distribution, mobile and social platforms. • Software design patterns and experience with either C++ or Java programming languages. • Experience in system and platform integration, API and SDK design. • Experience in evaluation, testing and selection of 3rd-party solutions and technologies, as well as employing external service providers and consultants.
