Anas Bder has started a discussion: We (Philips) are looking for experienced Java developers "Position summary: Part of a team working on a private and public cloud enterprise Imaging Informatics Platform based around Java Spring and Cloud Foundry. Design, implement and test at components/sub-system level in the healthcare IT domain. The platform is intended to help internal Philips business units to get products to market faster as well as external 3rd party developers that want to adopt the platform. The platform is a large scale enterprise private and public cloud solution and is the future of Healthcare. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the design, realization (of schematics, drawings and codes), integration and test of a (sub)system, component or module on the basis of design specifications in accordance with the functional specifications; understands and communicates consequences of his/her design on the architecture. • Takes initiative to work out design issues. • Is responsible for input in the planning process of the software subsystems. • Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study of the literature and technical contacts, in order to maintain the expertise in the specified area. • Work is done around Scaled Agile methodologies • Conforms and contributes to the departmental and project procedures and processes (documentation, code or schematics, verification). • The Engineer takes part in the reviews arranged by the (discipline-) Architect and accounts for his/her proposed approach. • Carries out small research assignments and is consulted on decisions regarding development methods. • At the same time, he/she guides and supervises less experienced colleagues and trainees. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in SW development • 3+ years of experience in large scale enterprise system development (based on Java technologies) • Experience in Java development and environments • Good English skills • Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment (local and global teams) • Experience in Linux deployment environment - advnatage • Experience with Cloud Foundry and Cloud technologies - advantage • Experience in Medical Systems- Advantage" | ||||||
