Group: משרות הייטק בין חברים, לפני שמתפרסמות בלוחות וחברות השמה Subject: Dell Israel is looking for Engineering Program Manager Nadav Alon posted a job: Dell Israel is looking for Engineering Program Manager "Dell IDC (Israel Design Center) is developing a high performance, scalable and fault tolerant clustered file-system. The file-system is integrated into Dell storage products, which are aimed to the enterprise market. Integrating the file-system into Dell storage product is done in cooperation with other Dell development sites located in US. The engineering program manager’s responsibility is to coordinate the product development cycles between IDC and the other development sites. The coordination includes schedule synchronization, training, analysis of special needs and more. The engineering program manager is expected to have good organizational skills, excellent communication skills, deep functional understanding of the products capabilities good understanding of the different components under the hood, and a focus on customer needs. The job requires traveling around 4 times a year for face to face meeting with the sites in US. Educational Requirements: • Academic degree or IDF technological units. • Graduate degree (MA) – Advantage. Work Experience: • Hands on Linux, Networking and Storage experience. • At least 3 years of Product/Program management experience or software development project management. Technical Kills: • Deep understanding and experience with software and software development life-cycle. • Ability to work with multiple interfaces both internally and externally. • Very comfortable in a Linux environment. • Understanding of Network and or Storage – significant advantage.
