ME Engineer is responsible for finding root causes failures, with Engineering cooperation in order to implement improvements in the product. Responsibilities: •Define repair processes, testing procedures, testers and jigs for service parts •Define and provide early SP requirements and inputs to Engineering •Participate and follow up in all Service related DR’s and technical meetings •Plan and executes ME activities and projects, and drive the plan to completion on time •Take part in Service Parts QCtA plan and execution •Participate in process validation in all stages of planning, IQ, OQ ,PQ •Teamwork with Customer Support, Engineering, Quality and IS OPS teams •Conduct failures investigation to improve parts reliability and DEFOA prevention •Be active member of DEFOA investigation team •Create ECO for new components and engineering changes •Find and process replacements for obsolescence •Define and verify parts packages design •Maintain supplier’s testers and jigs, their knowledge and parts quality •Lead and manage regular technical review within IS OPS and with R&D •Lead and manage technical relations with SPS External Repair Vendors Requirements: •Academic Engineering degree in Electronics with at least 3 years of relevant experience •Proven experience in design of electronic boards, test equipment, failures analysis, investigation and problems solving. •Knowledge and working experience with advanced measurement equipment •Experience in manufacturing and projects transfer from Engineering to Production •Ability to manage several efforts simultaneously (multitasking), people and processes in matrix and changing environment. •Good communication skills •Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment •Very good knowledge of English."
