In addition, Gilat enables mobile SOTM (Satcom-on-the-Move) solutions providing low-profile antennas, next generation solid-state power amplifiers and modems. +Job Description • A programmer, to join and lead complex features in a development team developing the satellite Access layer in the company’s 3G products. +Professional Characteristics • Strong programming skills • At least 2 years' experience in the VxWorks field – required • At least 2 years' experience programming C-language – required • Experience developing interfaces and protocols in communications/telecommunications systems • Experience writing code, defining functions, code reviews, unit tests • Experience/knowledge with multitasking • Experience/knowledge with IP protocols • Very skilled in terms of working with interfaces and team work • A strong sense of responsibility, systemic outlook, and ability to lead a task from A to Z +Personal Characteristics • Passionate about the programming field. • Functional independence – able to lead a project, implement work plans, and operate without guidance • Learning abilities – able to learn new material in-depth and implement it rapidly and independently • Personal relations – proper interpersonal communication skills with diverse entities in Israel and abroad; cooperative, with a positive attitude, and ability to work well in a team. • Multitasking – able to remain focused and function effectively when under pressure +Education • Graduate in computer engineering or communications +Job Location • Israel, Petah Tikva Please apply via royb@gilat.com , please mention you`ve seen the job on LinkedIn."
