WorldMate allows its users to automatically manage their trips, get content updates and flight alerts and book hotels or make car reservation from their mobile devices. We are looking for a web operations person within the operations department. He/she will be expected to take full responsibility for our production environments. Work will include maintenance of servers' software and OS, work on scaling our system; tuning up of systems such as JBoss, Tomcat, MongoDB, MySQL, Apache and others; deployment of our application to production environments and monitoring of all our environments. Work will require good scripting abilities, Linux admin level and DB knowledge. The position is located in Lod, Israel (no traffic jams!) Requirements: At least 3 years experience with the following is required: * Linux system administrator skills (installation and setup, configuration and optimization, scripting) * network devices - setup and configuration (router, switch and server level networking) * network protocols - TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, SSH, FTP and similar protocols * Security - firewalls, packet filtering (IPtables), server hardening * Monitoring * Past experience in managing a production environment (24x7) Advantages: * DNS management * Managing Load balancers (F5 BigIP) * Automatic build and deployment systems (Chef, Puppet, Hudson, Teamcity) * DBA skills (MySQL) Please send your CV to careers@worldmate.com"
