Alexandra Yalov posted a job: HP-Indigo in Israel is looking for statistician "Job definition Indigo division in HP specializing in development and production of commercial/industrial digital presses, which are used to print wide range of applications: from photo albums to labels and packages. Our Statistical and Data mining team is involved in all stages of product development and testing, providing consulting and analytical services to all Indigo departments, including Engineering, R&D, Materials, Customer support, etc. in following fields: * Statistical consulting on various topics * Design and analysis of experiments * Support of Lab/System/Alpha/Beta tests * Data Mining (gaining insights from our Big Data, constructing and maintaining predictive models, and provide actionable insights to other teams in the company) * Building Utilization and operational models * Performing Numeric Simulations * Building Forecasting models * Sampling optimizations * Calculation and verification of tolerances * Evaluation of measurement error (Gauge R&R study) * Wide range of trainings on different statistical topics and software * Design for Reliability * Reliability tests plan and analysis, JIGs definition The job involves very close interaction with mechanical/electrical/chemical/material engineers, good understanding of Indigo products/processes We are looking for an individual with strong background in statistics, good programming skills, strong out-of-the-box analytical thinking, capable to deal with technical problems Job requirement * Second degree in statistics (or M.Sc. student) * At least 2 years experience in statistical consulting field * Strong analytical skills * Technical knowledge is an advantage * Experience using statistical software (SAS, JMP are an advantage) * Experience with data mining techniques and algorithms is an advantage * Strong oral and written communication skills, good level of English Please apply at: Alexandra.yalov@hp.com" | |||||
